The Seminar will bring together the key biochar researchers, companies and NGOs from Nordic countries. Naturally, the participants of the seminar are not by far limited by mere Nordics, rather it would be a come-together event for key biochar researchers from all over world! So, if you are interested in biochar, welcome to Helsinki!

The Seminar will bring together the key biochar researchers, companies and NGOs from Nordic countries. Furthermore, in connection to the Seminar, there will be the meeting of the EU COST Action TD1107 Working Group 2 (Biochar for land use implementation, which includes participants from other parts of the EU).
Altogether the NJF is expecting about 80-110 participants from all over Europe! The NJF cordially welcomes all interested researchesrs to participate in this multi-disciplinary milestone event in Northern European biochar research!
